I love X-Men and Rogue is one of my all time favourite characters from the comics and the 90's cartoon. I loved how strong she was and the relationship between her and Gambit has always been one I love. (Gambit is one of my favourite guys of all time up there with Gene Starwind!) So wearing this at London Expo was a true joy! It's always nice to do a character everyone else knows and loves too. Sadly I need to practice the Southern accent though. It was quite a straightforward costume even though some bits were a bit fiddly and I'd never made an entire bodysuit out of spandex before (thank the baby Jesus for overlockers). The wig was a crazy frankenstein of two wigs, the red one being a very cheap halloween wig which works great for the ridiculous volume in her hair.
