May Expo 2008
just getting to May expo was amusing, I had to carry my sword on the train and tube which got me some funny looks. The Excel centre was HOT. Apparently the staff are still "how does i do air conditioner?" and it was full to the brim of people. So therefore I spent most of the time hidden behind the cosplay desk begging Kat and co to save me. ;P
Soon it was time for judging as I had entered the Soul Calibur 4 competition run by Ubisoft in collabiration with Neo. I hadn't entered any kind of competition before so I was a bit nervous but it was fine. Kazz got a nice picture of me which was cool! there were a lot of great Soul Calibur cosplayers walking around on the floor which was nice to see.
For some reason I had decided it was a good idea to go into the masquerade for funs, byt the end I was dying and changed my mind but I couldn't get out of it! It wasn't so bad in the end though. At the end they announced the winner and runners up to the competition and I came runner up! Yay! So did my friend Odangochan which was awesome.
Later on in the day we chilled out at the custome house party which is always rediculously bad but amusing none the less if just for drunk Andy and his brother. Much wine (not mine) was drunk and fun times were had. I then went back to the Novotel to stay in the room with the two crazy Scottish girls Eli and Angela which was highly amusing!
Next day I was persuaded awake by a nice cup of tea from Eli. :D I didn't bother cosplaying which meant it was nice and relaxing. Mostly wandered around the stalls, bugged Myst and played Rockband, fuck yeah! i then met Mark and team AIDS which is always amusing. :3 to sum up, many laughs were had!
