Materials: Red/pink polycotton, yellow tassles, leatherette, several buckles (wig) chicken wire, several wigs,
several cans of hairspray and one coke can!
Oh, this was a super fun costume. The costume itself was quite simple to do (oddly enough the boot covers were the biggest pain!) but the wig was a nightmare. I tried my best to make it light but it was still pretty heavy and awkward to wear, so sadly I couldn't wear it for much longer outside of the photoshoot. Still, despite being flown from one country to the other and battling with wind it did hold up quite well, though it didn't make it home with me sadly, so if I wear this costume again I'll have to make another wig.
However the best part was wearing the costume with my friend Erica and new friend Tali. I had such a blast, it's always more fun to wear costumes with friends, I think.
