Name: Kelly

Height: 5'5"
Hair colour: Brown
Eye colour: Blue
Location: Canterbury, Kent. UK.
Occupation: Student
Hobbies: Hm, I have quite a lot really! I love to sing, I had lessons when I was a kid for a few years. I am a grade three. I love horseriding and I still go occasionally when I have the time. I really enjoy making websites (this one was made by me), especially for my friends. I love animals and I often do voluntary work at my local vets. Of course I love to sew, which led to me making my cosplays! I like to doodle and I like to read. James Herriot books are my favourite for light hearted reading, though I enjoy reading up on Sociological theories, Marx and Engles interest me in particular. I've done a lot of things in the past, I used to be a gymnast and I also did kickboxing for a while! I also used to play piano though I suck now! I'd also say music is pretty important to me.
Favourite anime(s): Cardcaptor Sakura, XXXholic, Paradise Kiss, Sailor Moon (ahh nostalgia!), Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo!, Chobits, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
Favourite bands: The Smiths & Morrissey, Muse, The Bravery, Franz Ferdinand, Editors.
About me: I guess I'm a dreamer, I usually have my head in the clouds. I'm not one to conform easily to society,
which is probably why I don't have a job. I'm like My Dad, I don't work well for other people. I always wanted to be a vet
as a kid but, during my
A levels I became heavily depressed and then was diagnosed with clinical depression. Fortunately I got
some good A levels
and got into Kent Uni to study Fashion and Textiles. In the time after I found solace in creating websites and sewing.
This change
in my life has made me rethink my path and whilst I'm not sure exactly what the future has in hold for me,
that's okay. I mean, who really knows what they want to do in twenty years? I do know that I won't let a job define who I am
and I have no qualms in dropping a life path and picking up a new one. Who knows, I may be studying to be a doctor when I'm fifty!
My
friends are deeply important to me and I'd do most things for them. So is my family. I have three younger
brothers who drive
me mad but I love them. My Nan is also very important to me, as she has encouraged my sewing and makes
it mean more to me.
Cosplay is not only for fun for me, but a way of coping. I also have a group of friends who I meet often at conventions,
they are great to me
and without them the experience wouldn't be nearly so awesome!
