Amecon 2008
We got to Amecon Thursday night this year, which was nice and meant things started early and were a lot more relaxed. We met Jemma and co at the Varsity bar and generally spent the night with her and Loz getting drunk. GOOD TIMES. Getting up for Friday was hard but we made it to reg, we were in full Eva and Big Boss get up. We met up with the rest of the MGS group and had a photoshoot with Andrew which was nice. There were little frogs hopping all over the place, they were so adorable! The AMV disco was awesome as ever where I was reunited with everyone dancing to crazy cheese on the dancefloor.
Saturday started off with delicous noms from the B&B we were staying at. Oh God, the breakfast was heaven. Then I quickly got into Sophitia to meet Lozzie and Caz (Lozzie was staying at my B&B too). There we battled with the WINNNDD and got to Amecon for lots of pictures in the cold outside I managed to meet up with most of the Soul Calibur people but sadly not all of them! Ah it's always the way. Watched some of the masquerade, it was pretty good this year. Then headed back to get changes for the anime jpop part which was fun (if LOUD).
Sunday was Omake rehersals. We had to be there by 10, not fun. Still despite delay our skit went great in the end! Aside from Eli having a bt of a trip on stage, hehe. I hung around for a bit to get pictures of Yoko before heading back to get changed for the ball. We had our traditional group picture and then at nine me and chococat sang a duet on stage which was awesome. Sadly it was over all too soon, Monday we met up in the cafeteria for goodbyes before back of home.
