Amecon 2007 report
This year was even more awesome than last year! I actually bothered to watch the masquerade this year, eheh where as the year before I didn't really attend any of the major events. Oops. Opal court was great, and much better than the place we stayed last. I wish it had been a wee bit closer still, but eh, I could do with the exercise! I didn't cosplay this time much though, it was sooo~~ hot! Which made me kinda sad. I did however get to cosplay Chii with my friend as Freya on the Friday which was fun. Even if my wig was misbehaving something rotten.
I didn't spend as much time in the games room this time, but I did sing a wee bit. My voice had started to go though, and by Monday .. man, my voice was so hoarse, yikes! Nevermind though, I played a bit more guitar hero this time, that is nearly as fun, though I'll never be very good at that. T_T
The ball on Sunday was lovely, if not a bit packed. I did waltz (or try to) with most people who asked, though by the end of the night I had to start turning people down as my feet hurt so much ~~ I had really abused them with high heels over the course of the weekend! Even the trip back was kinda cool this time, we went to Ikkuysans for lunch which was a nice ending to the weekend.
